Add flossing to your routine and you'll experience a cleaner, healthier smile. Brushing cleans the surface of your teeth. You need to floss in order to clean out the gaps between your teeth, where bacteria often reside. If you don't floss, you're more likely to have plaque build-up, which can lead to cavities, tooth decay, and gum disease. In addition, bacteria can cause bad breath and having food or debris between your teeth can make them look less clean or white. Thus, flossing can help improve the appearance of your mouth as well as your dental hygiene and overall health.
If you or your child currently wears braces, flossing is even more important. Food and bacteria can easily lodge underneath braces and cause permanent damage to teeth. However, you have to be careful when flossing so that you don't damage your braces.

The Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to benefit caregivers in the Greater Lakes Region of New Hampshire. This year's Auction will take place at the Belknap Mall in Belmont, NH. Broadcasting Live on 104.9 The Hawk and WEEI 101.5 Sports Radio, also streaming at www.childrensauction.com and locally on Metrocast Channel 12 and LRPA Channel 25.

At Kennell Orthodontics we now take all of our records for our patients using our new iTero scanner. This means no more goopie impression material! The iTero also has a feature that allows us to show you what your teeth could look like once your orthodontic treatment is complete. How awesome is that?!
